Roughly 100 positions are being cut from the Vision Pro organization, according to the report. Apple is largely shutting down a team focused on gaming for the headset and scaling back the group that produces Immersive Video content.
Apple still plans to make a smaller amount of Immersive Video content internally while encouraging outside companies to produce more. The report also says Apple is focused in the near term on smart glasses that would not depend on the same immersive video and advanced gaming capabilities.
