The X Subscription bundles Grok, Cursor, and X Premium benefits into one account, giving users a single plan for AI chat, coding tools, and social features. The company says its $30-per-month Premium tier includes the benefits of SuperGrok, Cursor Pro, and X Premium+, which previously cost $90 per month combined. The company outlined the offer in its official announcement and on the X account announcement.
How the X Subscription works
The new lineup starts with a free plan and adds Plus for $8 per month, Premium for $30, Super for $100, and Ultra for $200. Paid tiers combine different levels of AI usage with X features such as a checkmark, creator tools, and fewer ads. The full details are on the official X Subscription pricing page.
Grok and Cursor draw from one shared weekly usage pool. Subscribers can use more of that allowance for AI conversations or coding, depending on their needs. The allowance also covers Grok Bot on eligible tiers. However, third-party models in Cursor, including Claude and GPT models, are billed separately through usage top-ups rather than included in the shared pool.
Existing subscribers do not have to switch immediately
Existing SuperGrok, Cursor, and paid X subscribers can keep their current plans or switch through account billing settings when the option appears. Eligible customers who switch receive a prorated refund for unused time on the old plan. There are exceptions for subscriptions billed through app stores, so customers should check the official switching instructions before changing plans.
The bundle is most useful for people who already pay for several of these services. Readers comparing individual costs can also review Saganote’s guides to Cursor pricing and Grok pricing. For someone who only uses one product, the main question is whether the bundled features and shared usage allowance justify the monthly cost.
