Grok Build Is Now Available to Every SuperGrok and X Premium Plan
xAI has opened its prompt-to-product builder on Grok web, iOS, and Android to every SuperGrok and X Premium subscriber.
Grok Build is now available on Grok web, iOS, and Android for every SuperGrok and X Premium subscriber, expanding xAI's prompt-to-product builder beyond the Heavy tier. xAI announced the wider availability on August 20, saying one prompt can turn an idea into a published product with its own domain.
The rollout covers the same consumer Build experience xAI introduced in July. Users describe what they want, Grok writes the code and builds a working version inside the conversation, and the project can then be published for others to open. xAI's announcement says the feature can create websites, apps, games, and interactive dashboards.
Grok Build Moves Beyond the Heavy Tier
July's Grok Build Mode launch limited the Early Beta to SuperGrok Heavy subscribers. The latest announcement removes that plan restriction for SuperGrok and X Premium subscribers and puts Build on the web as well as the iOS and Android apps.
The workflow does not require users to install a separate development environment. Grok generates the code behind the project and shows the result as it works. Users can continue the conversation to change layouts, add features, or restyle the product before publishing it.
What Grok Build Can Create
xAI lists four main project types: websites such as landing pages and business sites, apps with state and logic, browser-based games, and interactive dashboards. The dashboard examples can connect to business data and turn it into live charts and filterable views.
Published projects can use a grok.me address or a custom domain. That makes Build different from a coding assistant that stops at generated source files: xAI's consumer workflow carries the project through creation and publication.
The wider rollout also arrives after Grok 4.6 launched with a focus on longer-running agentic work and interactive applications. For users who want to move from a conversation to a working artifact, Build now puts that capability directly inside the main Grok surfaces.
Grok Build Joins a Broader Agent Push
xAI has been adding task-oriented features around Grok throughout the summer. Grok Bot gives users persistent AI teammates that can work across apps, while Automations lets Grok run jobs on schedules or when emails arrive.
Build targets a different job: creating software rather than delegating an existing workflow. The distinction matters because the latest rollout puts app creation next to the regular Grok conversation instead of treating it as a separate developer tool.
