Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Costs $699 With New AI Features From Samsung

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is now official, with a starting price of $699 and general availability beginning September 4. Samsung is positioning the Fan Edition phone around the features it says matter most, including its camera system, Galaxy AI tools, and the latest One UI.

The price is $50 higher than the Galaxy S25 FE's original US starting price. Samsung is still keeping the FE below the regular Galaxy S26, but the higher entry price makes the value gap between the two models more important for buyers.

What You Get for $699

The phone has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,900 nits of peak brightness. It uses Samsung's 3nm Exynos 2500 processor with 8GB of RAM, while US storage options are 128GB and 256GB.

Battery capacity reaches 4,900mAh, with 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The device also has IP68 water and dust resistance, 5G connectivity, and a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, and 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom.

Camera software is one of Samsung's main selling points. My FanCam can track a selected person in the frame, while Super Steady with Horizontal Lock is designed to keep video aligned with the horizon during stabilized recording.

Software is another major part of the package. The phone ships with Android 17 and One UI 9, including updated Galaxy AI experiences such as Now Brief and Now Nudge.
