Apple's first touchscreen MacBook could arrive as soon as October, according to a new 9to5Mac report. The machine is expected to launch alongside Apple's next high-end MacBook Pro redesign and could be branded MacBook Ultra.
The report says Apple is preparing 14-inch and 16-inch notebooks with OLED displays, touch input, a thinner design, and an iPhone-style Dynamic Island instead of the current notch. The touchscreen is expected to work as a secondary input method rather than replace the keyboard and trackpad. 9to5Mac reports that the launch could happen in October, although Apple has not announced the product.
