TL;DR: Meta One combines premium features across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp with expanded Meta AI usage, launching globally with plans from $2.99 per month.

Meta has introduced Meta One, a new subscription service that combines premium features across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp with higher usage limits for Meta AI. Meta says the rollout includes more than 50 features and has reached 15 million subscriptions and trials so far, while the core experience across its apps and everyday Meta AI use remains free.

What Meta One includes

Meta One builds on the Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus plans that Meta introduced earlier this year. The new Core and Premium bundles combine those app-specific features with more access to compute-intensive AI features.

That includes more image creation and editing in Meta AI, more video generation powered by Meta's Muse models, and additional use of Instagram's Restyle and other creative tools. Meta says everyday Meta AI remains free, so the paid plans are aimed at people who want higher usage of its more demanding creative features.

The new service also extends into creator and business tools. Depending on the plan, subscribers can get enhanced profiles, stronger audience-growth tools, more access to Meta Business Agent, advanced publishing features, analytics, additional WhatsApp business capabilities, and higher agent capacity for larger teams.

Meta One pricing starts at $2.99

Meta One is available globally, although Meta says pricing, benefits and availability can vary by region, app and account.

  • Instagram Plus: $3.99 per month
  • WhatsApp Plus: $2.99 per month
  • Facebook Plus: $3.99 per month
  • Core: $7.99 per month
  • Premium: $19.99 per month
  • Essential: starting at $14.99 per month
  • Advanced: starting at $49.99 per month
  • Expert: starting at $149 per month
  • Max: starting at $499 per month

Meta says it plans to expand Meta One to Edits, AI glasses and additional experiences over time. For the full feature list and account-specific availability, see Meta's official Meta One announcement.

The AI side of Meta One builds on the company's recent push into generative tools. Saganote previously covered Meta's Muse image generator for creators and Instagram Stories, which is now part of the broader AI feature set Meta is using to differentiate its paid plans.
