Adobe Premiere Android Launch Brings Free Pro Video Editing to Phones
Adobe’s free mobile editor arrives on Android with multi-track editing, 4K exports and Firefly-powered tools.
Adobe Premiere Android is now available, giving Android users access to Adobe’s free mobile video editor after the app first launched on iPhone in 2025. Adobe says the Android version is available through Google Play for devices running Android 13 or later with at least 5GB of RAM.
The app is built around a multi-track timeline that can layer video, music, voiceovers, text and effects. Adobe also includes frame-accurate editing, templates, transitions, Adobe Stock assets, extracted audio and video exports up to 4K. The app does not require a forced login or show upgrade prompts during editing.
Adobe Premiere Android Includes Firefly AI Tools
Adobe Premiere Android also includes several Firefly-powered generative AI features. Users can access Generative Fill, Image-to-Video and Generate Sound Effects alongside editing tools such as Enhance Audio, which Adobe says can reduce background noise and improve the clarity of recordings with one tap.
Adobe says the free app includes the core video-editing tools, while additional generative credits and storage are available through upgrades. The company also says the Android version has no ads and no watermark.
Android 13 and 5GB RAM Are Required
Premiere mobile is available now on Google Play for Android 13 or later and requires a minimum of 5GB of RAM. Adobe is also developing additional features, including Adobe Fonts, enhanced captions, keyframes, cropping and beat detection.

Adobe first brought the new Premiere mobile experience to iPhone in September 2025 and said at the time that Android was still in development. The Android launch now completes that mobile expansion, while Adobe says more features are still in development.
